AROUND 40 firefighters tackled a blaze at a garage.
Fire crews arrived to find the fire, in the building in Old Dalkeith Road, Edinburgh, burning fiercely with smoke drifting from the premises.
A man, believed to be in his 50s was taken to the city's Royal Infirmary to be treated for smoke inhalation.
Police alerted neighbouring residents in the Danderhall area of the smoke danger.
