A CYCLIST is in hospital today after a road crash in Glasgow.
The 67-year-old was involved in a crash with a car in Possilpark on Wednesday evening.
Police were called to Keppochhill Road, close to Saracen Street, shortly before 8pm.
The road was closed while investigations were carried out.
Police said the cyclist was taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where he received treatment for serious injuries.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "At around 7.50pm on May 20, police and emergency services responded to reports of a collision between a car and a cyclist at Keppochhill Road.
"The 67-year-old man who was cycling was taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary to receive treatment for serious injuries.
"No one else was injured as a result of the collision."
The road re-opened at around 1am today.
