Deal secures bus routes

VITAL local bus services in North and South Lanarkshire will continue with a £200,000 cash lift.

Strathclyde Partnership for Transport put up the money for the 251 and 245 services in the Forgewood-Motherwell-North Lodge and Lark- hall-Overtown-Wishaw General Hospital runs.

First Glasgow will cover the services withdrawn by local operators.
