THE cities of the future could be designed right here in Glasgow thanks to a new course being launched by Strathclyde University.
The Leadership for Global Sustainable Cities Masters degree course aims to equip students with the skills that will help shape the cities of the future.
It has been developed to create vibrant urban centres with thriving economies, rich cultures and low environmental impacts and will focus on problem-solving using real-world situations. with guest speakers, opportunities for international experience, and work placements across the world.
Richard Bellingham, director of the university's Institute for Future Cities, said: "We have an unparalleled opportunity to improve the quality of life for people across the world."
The Masters in Leadership for Global Sustainable Cities begins in September, and is open for applications.
