The singer, who has sold 17 million records, will host the glamorous urban music gongs at the SECC on October 5.

Jason, said: "It's a real honour to be presenting and performing at the MOBO Awards this year.
"It's such a huge event to be part of and I'm super excited to come back to the UK. It's going to be a lot of fun."
The singer-songwriter from Miami topped the charts with his second single In My Head last year. He hit the top spot again for two weeks in July with Don't Wanna Go Home taken from his new album Future History
Singers Jessie J, Katy B and American R'n'B princess Alexis Jordan will be among the performers on the night.
Music fans will be able to vote for one of the awards.From August 31fans will be able to cast their vote for the Lebara Best Newcomer at www.facebook.com/mobo official.
Kanya King MBE, CEO and founder of the MOBO Awards, said: "The addition of the Facebook category will add even more excitement to the night.
"It is a first for MOBO as all previous awards have been hosted on www.mobo.com, but we want to mix things up and move with the times. It will be great to see the fans get behind their favourite Best Newcomer this way and it is fantastic that Lebara, the headline partner for the MOBO Awards are sponsoring this category."
