PATIENTS at a city hospital have had their operations cancelled after medics raised fears over dirty surgical equipment.
Some 50 patients due to undergo surgery at Gartnavel Hospital in Glasgow were informed operations would not go ahead, because surgical instruments from a central decontamination unit were not safe to be used.
