A TRIO of Scots hunks are poised to storm the music charts after becoming the world's first bagpipe boy band.
Kyle Warren, Keith Bowes and Alasdair Henderson make up TNT and hope to send pulses racing with their twist on traditional Scottish music.
The band has made bagpiping cool with funky beats and sizzling dance moves and hope to attract a new generation of listeners - as well as female admirers.
They have bagged a deal with independent label Greentrax Recordings and have just started work on their debut album.
Kyle, 18, from Helensburgh, Dunbartonshire, said: "Our music is pretty unique.
"We are putting a different slant on the music by using funky drum beats and guitar."
The threesome want to help cast off the shortbread tin image of bagpiping for good and update its image for young fans.
Alasdair, 18, from Dunoon, Argyll, said: "Girls have started coming up and asking to have photos taken with us. It's a fringe benefit."
And Greentrax Recordings managing director Ian Green added: "It brings piping into a new context. I have been running this label for more than 20 years and have never seen anything quite like it."
