DRINKING two cups of spearmint tea a day could help women with excess body hair, says a new study.
Hirsutism is a condition where women grow extra hair on their faces, breasts and stomachs because they have abnormally high levels of "masculine" hormones called androgens.
But a study of 21 women published in Phytotherapy Research journal suggests spearmint tea can help treat mild hirsutism.
The study was conducted by Suleyman Demirel University in Isparta, Turkey.
