Karen Walker raises a toast to one of her distillery's oldest tipples.
Inver House Distillers has relaunched its Balblair malt as it chases demand for luxury items abroad.
The firm, which owns the Old Pulteney and Speyburn labels, is investing six figures to promote the brand.
Selling the bottles for up to £89, Balblair has been rebranded, repackaged and released as Inver House's premium whisky to help capture expanding markets in Russia and Asia.
Joint initiatives with other luxury brands will be part of the marketing campaign.
Marketing manager Karen said: "There is huge opportunity in the whisky market at the moment, especially in the premium end of the category and in emerging markets, such as Asia and Russia.
"Balblair's re-launch and an increased international focus marks an incredibly exciting time."
The growing popularity of whisky around the world has helped build a Scottish export market worth in excess of £2billion.
