YOU don't have to be Crazy to do Fame Academy, but it helps.
Comedian and radio presenter Fred MacAulay proved he has a "nose" for a good tune while undertaking a voice coaching lesson in Glasgow.

The 50-year-old prepared for tonight's showdown on Comic Relief Does Fame Academy with instruction from RSAMD's head of vocal studies Christopher Underwood.
Having wowed audiences on Saturday with his scarlet kilt and matching boxers, Fred is set to perform Gnarls Barkley's long-running No 1 single, Crazy. He will be up against the 11 remaining celebrities to enter the Fame Academy house.
"This has been great," said Fred. "I was tentative singing Why Does It Always Rain On Me, because there was a lot of nerves to get out the way.
"But having Christopher say: Go for it', that might give me the confidence just to let rip on Wednesday."
The BBC Radio Scotland presenter has been critical of reality television in the past, but the former accountant could not resist the chance to give his pipes an airing in the name of Comic Relief.
Pianist Eric Rice lowered the key of the song slightly to F minor, while Christopher advised Fred to sing in his full Scottish brogue to give the song added impetus.
Moreover, in the spirit of Barkley's zany stage costumes, viewers should watch out for Fred's interesting eyewear.
Fred is ranked as a 50-1 outsider by bookmakers Coral.
The full line-up for this year's competition is: presenter Angellica Bell; DJ Colin Murray; actresses Linda Robson and Tricia Penrose; comedian Tim Vinel; comediennes Mel Giedroyc and Miranda Hart; sports presenter Ray Stubbs; actor Shaun Williamson; socialite Tara Palmer-Tomkinson; and Blue Peter presenter
Zoe Salmon.
Comedian Rowland Rivron was "expelled" on Saturday having polled the least number of votes.
The final is on Red Nose Day - March 16.
