Drive for safer road use

GLASGOW pop band Belle and Sebastian will be spinning the decks tonight when they act as DJs at a gig against racism.

The show at Glasgow University Union will also feature The Tribunes and Chris Geddes.

Trade union Amicus has joined forces with Love Music Hate Racism and Unite Against Fascism to organise the event.

John Quigley, Amicus regional secretary for Scotland, said: "With local elections approaching young people need to use their votes and make a stand against those who promote racism."

Tickets are available on the door and cost £4/£3 for students. It starts at 8pm.
