Clock this… a £100,000 wristwatch

IT CAN normally be seen on the wrists of supermodels like Claudia Schiffer - but shoppers in Glasgow can get up close and personal with one of the world's top watches.

At £100,000, the Ebel Vanua doesn't come cheap, but it sparkles with 641 diamonds.

It's thought to be the most expensive watch for sale in Scotland.

The stunning timepiece, named Vanua after the Polynesian Island, is part of Ebel's Gems of the Ocean collection and contains 505 cut diamonds and 136 baguettes and weighs in at a hefty 10.92 carats.

It is on show at Laing the Jewellers in Argyll Arcade until Sunday.
