TV presenter Gabby Logan has told men to "get over it" and accept women in the world of sports reporting.
Logan, 34, says attitudes need to change to ensure female sport reporters are taken seriously.
She claims women are under extra pressure to prove themselves in the tough world of sports presenting.
The face of BBC's Inside Sport was the first woman to present a live terrestrial football match.
But she believes fellow reporter Jacqui Oatley was under unfair pressure when she became the first woman to commentate on BBC's Match of the Day last month.
She said: "The pressure on her was daunting.
"Men were saying things like this is where we bond and you are ruining it'.
"My feeling was, Oh for goodness sake, get over it'.
"It is changing, but football is the last bastion."
