Rare Glasgow date for Lach

NEW York City singer Lach - the founder of the US Antifolk movement - is to perform a rare date in Glasgow.

Described by critics as a mix of Patti Smith and Bob Dylan, he has lined up a show at music venue Nice n' Sleazy on August 12.

BBC2 Scotland will also broadcast two specials on Lach as part of the series Real American Folk on July 26 and August 9 at 8pm.

The TV appearance will come live from the roof of the BBC's new Pacific Quay studios in Glasgow.
