RARE photographs of The Beatles will get their first Scottish display at a Glasgow gallery.
The shots, taken by Scottish photographer Tom Murray while the Fab Four took a break from recording the White Album, will go on show the Park Gallery, Pollokshaws Road, from next Thursday.
John, Paul, George and Ringo were captured having fun and relaxing in various locations around London in July 1968.
The photos have remained out of sight for more than 30 years.
Out of two rolls of film, 23 photographs remain intact, and have acquired such mystique among Beatles fans they are now known as the Mad Day Out' pictures.
Mr Murray, who was born in St Andrews and later became a royal photographer, has decided to release a limited edition run of 195 signed prints of each photo.
He didn't even know he was going to be photographing The Beatles that eventful day.
Mr Murray was summoned to an assignment with a rock group' - and arrived to hear the melody of Lady Madonna coming from a piano.
He turned round to find it was Paul McCartney playing the song.
