THESE stunning photographs sum up Glasgow's popular festival of light.
Members of Queen's Park Camera Club were asked to tour the city during the Radiance event in November and capture their favourite images.
All the pictures were submitted to the city council and the three winning amateur photographers invited to an awards ceremony in the City Chambers.
Alistair Watson won the overall prize for his dramatic view of Glasgow Cathedral, as well as the award in the cathedral section.
Sheila Clark won in the projects section for her image of The Dress and Michael MacLean picked up the people section award for his image of a man and child enjoying the festival.
Deputy Lord Provost Allan Stewart, the council's lighting strategy spokesman, said: "We are delighted Queen's Park Camera Club took up
the challenge to capture the spirit of Radiance."
Next year marks the 250th anniversary of the birth of Robert Burns and a series of events are being planned.
Mr Stewart said: "The lighting strategy group will be playing a major role in making our city positively glow for this very special event, with Glasgow looking forward to welcoming old friends and new visitors in 2009."
