GIRLS Aloud wowed a sold-out SECC last night - but revealed the gig had nearly come unravelled.
The glam girls admitted Kimberly had been struck down by a bug but Nadine claimed the Glasgow crowd's enthusiasm would help her get better.
So the five-piece soldiered on, opening by being lowered onto stage for recent hit Sexy! No No No. There was the usual glitz, costume changes and dance routines, with Sound of the Underground seeing them clamber over their backing dancers dressed in raunchy PVC outfits.
And the all-ages audience went into hysterics when the chart-toppers made their way over a catwalk to a small stage in the middle of the crowd, performing some of their ballads and throwing in an effective cover of Robyn's With Every Heartbeat.
Then it was back to the party mood, with the girls donning gold dresses for upbeat stompers Jump and Call the Shots, before Something Kinda Ooooh ended the night with confetti being fired over the crowd.
