IT could be the answer to every working girl's wardrobe dilemma - what to wear for a night out straight from the office.

A designer has come up with a two-in-one little black dress which is suitable for the workplace, but converts into a sexy outfit with racy red satin trimming.

Using strings, hidden buttons and a reversible belt, the dress transforms from one that is suitable for office meetings to one perfect for a nightclub dancefloor.

The work to flirt' dress is the brainchild of a designer from website DatingDirect.com, who discovered that singletons are more keen on midweek dates than ones at the weekend.

However, many girls say they are unsure about wearing something for the office that's also suitable for a night out.

Research by the website found 40% of people would prefer not to wear their office clothes on a night out.

And 68% of women claimed bringing an outfit for a night out into the office was a "hassle".

Up-and-coming designer Tansy Hamley created the work to flirt' dress as the ultimate solution for time poor, and stylistically-challenged women.

Tansy said: "The dress has been well received, with women saying it takes the hassle out of planning their date outfits. Many have joked it helps them transform in a Superman-style makeover."

The dress is being trialled by members of the online dating service and several high street chains say they would like to stock a version.
