JUST a few months after cleaner Soraya Lowell scooped a record £1.16million win at a Scots bingo hall, another member has won £36,000.
The latest winner, a man who wants to remain anonymous, is from Airdrie and has been a member of Club 3000 in Coatbridge since it opened.
He plays bingo there four times a week with friends and on Sunday, August 10, his lucky numbers came up.
He won the National Bingo Game prize of £32,720, the regional prize of £3265 and the house prize of £480.
The National prize that evening was £65,440 but he had to share it with a player in Boston, Lincolnshire, who also completed a full house in 44 numbers, the lowest call in any of the 470 clubs playing nationwide.
"Everyone cheered when I won but I just sat there and didn't even twitch," he said.
"I'm going to use the money to take my daughter on holiday."
The winner works as a driver and also plans to buy a new car.
In March, Soraya, from Hamilton, won the Platinum Jackpot, netting £1,167,795.
