Let me see... September 16, Hogmanay is still more than three months away... plenty of time to announce a surprise 'reconciliation' and pull the promised shows out of the bag after all. The festive publicity stunts get earlier every year...

Thank goodness. Their scripts were becoming tired and predictable.
Now, if only we could get Karen Dunbar to pack it in too.

So Riley is responsible for this mince!

The reported split doesn't worry me in the slightest as I've never found them to be remotely funny, only very childish. perhaps it's time for a return to real comedy - hopefully the BBC have Tony Roper's phone number.

How can the give Dear green place another series? It is one of the worst programmes to be made in Scotland in years and that includes Scotsport when Julian was presenting it!

No-one could tell the difference.

Good riddance, lets hope something fresh and funny comes out, and sooner the BBC "comedy" mafioso move on the better.

In your post you seem to make a connection between Elaine C Smith and "comedy".

Word on the street is that there is a new Scottish Production company setting up in business.
They have ideas for stage plays, sit-coms and even feature length films.
Not all Glasgow stuff or the same predictable tat you get from the likes of F n' G!
Oh No
These are new kids on the block - dudes in their early 30's.
Move over Jack n Victor - a new breed is about to take over sometime very soon.

And they said 'Francie & Josie' was terrible.
By the way, I think Karen Dunbar is prime meat, I could fancy that lassie, and she IS funny. Mind ye, so wiz Labour's Maggie Curran at the hustings for the East End seat. Maybe the good old BBC can give her a comedy slot.
