Pollok is full of Pyromaniacs
Maybe the young people are so mongol'd up, they obviously don't want any improvement to their social conditions - they'd rather live in some zombie zone which looks like something straight out of Escape from New York - so keep Dead Road and throw up a perimeter fence with spikes and barbed wire (a bit like the stuff you see around schools and grey, innefective multi-storey housing schemes like Shitehill).
That could be a worthy solution to a long standing problem for those with no brains and have a fascination for the stuff which brought alive The Crazy World of Arthur Brown.

i aint been charmed by no-one old man!! i dont like raicism theres no room for it anywhere in the world. And also my husband is Albanian and my daughter half Albanian so i cant stand racist people but as it happens he hasnt said anything racist to me so i sont have a problem with the guy. He has his own views as do me and you we might not like them but thats life. As for being the queen of bully i dont think s but when people like you comment on things you know nothing about it annoys me

surely the fire raisers must be rolling around laughing as now they have caused all this upset,,,,now if the parents or relatives gave a flying sh*t as to what was going on in the neighbourhood the fires would not happen check the wee knuckle draggers area now and again for lighters and petrol.....you may be shocked.

FFS, the personal slagging matches are becoming a bit farcical.
Fact, Pollok has probably more than its fair share of peckers and maniacs .... but then again so do ALL the housing schemes.
My other half grew up in Pollok, (until I rescued her lol), and she DOES have some horror stories from her youth, but then again, I was brought up between Maryhill and Drumchapel and so do I.
EVERYONE who was brought up on the housing estates has similar stories to tell.
Drugs and out and out unwillingness to get a job play a massive part in these problems, and even those who DO want to work (especially those under 25/30), as soon as possible employers see the address its story over in most cases. Except for low skilled, manual labour, usually in places where there is a high staff turnover.

Anything to do with foreigners is banned. PC correct mentality gone lanatic. Seems to be only "safe" stories, if these fires were in Govanhill I doubt we`d get to post.
