guys its NOT the fault of schools,i work in education,parents just see schools as a form of babysitting now,but if you give their little neds into trouble for something god help you,we have no more holidays than 30 years ago,but when i was young in the 80s we wouldnt have dared to do this type of thing and there were no youth centres or outreach programmes then.its the so called parents,the so called justice system,the lawyers who offer legal aid to fight johnny shellsuits suspension from school cause their yuman rights are affected,the handouts of money,the junkies and do gooders.we are a society in moral meltdown,and the last people to blame,believe me,are the people in the education system

I agree with every comment on this forum, these mindless morons MUST be brought to account and punished severely, have their liberty taken from them and be made to pay every penny of damage. But are we just venting our anger on this forum? We all at some time suffer at the hands of these thugs. The educational system has failed, so what now?
The law must be changed and used to destroy the thug culture that is all to common throughout the city. Too many liberals protect them by pronouncing "they're only kids". They're not, they're vicious little animals (sorry to all animals) who have no respect for others or property. I for one will be writing a strongly worded letter to both my MP and MSP demanding action to protect the decent majority in our city. I suggest others do likewise. I want to be able to walk about without fear and have no worries of my property being damaged.

Not just vandalism and grafitti, some of which was racist, but it isn't just kids who have no respect for gaveyards. There were adults walking dogs, and parents on one occassion, watching while their child did the toilet on a grave! The whole experience put me off getting buried, er for life.. still, I don't suppose the deceased care, but can't be much comfort for the relatives who visit!

May I suggest: When they are caught: 1) Forcibly sedate them until they are in a medically induced coma. 2) Remove all serviceable organs for transplant. 3) Display the remainders of the bodies on TV along with name and nature of crime. 4) Burn the bodies in a bio-fuel plan to generate energy. That way they will have contributed to society: more organ donation, entertainment and gas/electricity. Now that would be a deterrent!

Bizarre stuff, but if you never see it, then how do you know whats going on, especially when the media (ET etc) hide it from view and the government try and hide it when they have been largely responsible for the problems in the first place.

you guys are missing the point going on about schools,if you saw the corntonvale programe none of those "females" were of school age.but like their male counterparts they will never graduate to having a quiet drink in a pub,they drink in the streets or behind schools and shops well into their twentys,i know a guy who is 22 and has two kids of his own who still drinks with the young crowd,this guy couldnt go into a pub,he wouldnt know what to do,not only is he unemployable he is anti social,he cannot interact normally,he is scum at 22 still writing his name on school walls and vandalising.i would bet my life that the damage caused to the necropilis was by aged 17 and upwards,not kids of school age.yes a lot of school kids are out of control,but they grow into young adults who cannot mix with normal people,they just get wasted outdoors constantly,and there are thousands of them

I am sorry but Scotland was not my home town, yet I understand the problems being caused by teenagers.
They are sometimes caught, and it is said that their parents were abused as children so the know no different attitude, although here in California we too have the same problems at school, our teachers are always after a raise, " as they are abused in their classrooms" our children are "never" in school, I was told the other day that the teachers will not attend the headmasters meetings, so they throw the kids out every Thursday an hour earlier, the teachers are abusing the children by doing this, they are always out of school for one holiday or another, they get Christmas, Easter, and all the other days that they are out, they also get three months during the summer, this last three weeks they have been out one or two days per week, and then we are told that the teenagers cannot write their own names.
I am so sorry to hear about all the problems they are causing, they are not in school long enough to learn, that there are other people in this world, if they do catch them nothing will be done as they are told it is against their rights as a human being, what about the rights of the loved ones of those that are being abused, when they do catch them it will do no good if their parents have to pay for all the damage, the kids will go out the next night and do it all again.
