MOTORISTS faced disruption after a three-car crash on the M74.
The collision happened during rush hour on Wednesday, shortly after 6pm.
Polmadie Road was closed to traffic between the M74 Northbound on/off ramps and Calder Street.
Road users were advised to avoid the area.
It was not clear how many people were injured, however a spokeswoman from the Scottish Ambulance Service said one ambulance transported people to the Victoria Infirmary.
Their injuries did not appear to be life threatening.
The road was reopened at about 7.30pm.
