Where are you based?

ESpark Glasgow. A wonderful combination of enthusiasm, mentoring, support knowledge and inspiration!

How did you get started?

In my spare room. I have worked in video production for several years and felt nobody was doing this 'just right' and the time was right for me to go solo.

What is your background?

Actor, musician, music producer, salesman ... I've had quite a varied career. I settled on video production several years ago and have been working in that field since.

What is your top tip?

Do what you say you will do. Nothing's worse than people who don't deliver. Also, figure out what you aren't good at - and don't ever do that.

How long has your business been running?

Six months.

Has anyone helped you get started and how?

Lots of people. I've had support from family, friends, Informatics Ventures and, most crucially in terms of progress, ESpark.

What was your first deal?

A contract to cover Investment events for Informatics Ventures around Scotland.

What was your biggest mistake/or what would you do differently?

I'd have started sooner but then I think the mistakes and growth you go through as a result, inform your current success so although I've made many mistakes, I don't think I'd do anything differently.

If I had to pick one thing, I think sending an e-mail meant for a particular person's eyes only to a client is my most cringe-worthy moment!

Where do you plan your business to be in five years time?

Across Scotland and the UK and knocking on the door of Europe. I'm working to make our model replicable across many locations and want to have the flexibility to work from places that catch a bit of sun.
