A 23-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested for alleged road traffic offences following a police chase.
The accused was in a car which is alleged to have been stolen and officers were in pursuit in a police vehicle.
The driver crashed into a lamp post in Walkinshaw Street, Bridgeton which fell onto the police car.
He made off on foot, followed by the officers, and climbed onto the roof of nearby flats.
The man was arrested an hour later and was taken into police custody. He is expected to appear in Glasgow Sheriff Court tomorrow.
Nobody was injured in the incident.
