DRIVERS may face disruption because of roadworks during the £10.6million upgrade of a major road network in South Ayrshire.
The final phase of the Symington and Bogend Toll scheme began at the start of the month.
To allow the works, the A77 southbound will be reduced to one lane from Monday, January 20 for around two weeks, while the northbound lane will be reduced to one lane for three weeks next month.
Fast lanes on both the A77 north and southbound will then be closed to allow improvement work to the central reservation.
