A crackdown on criminals who peddle illegal substances has seen arrests for the offence soar.

Two people were arrested for alleged drug dealing in the area on Thursday.

A series of operations to detain and disrupt street dealers has seen raids increase.

Police said a recent survey of local people revealed tackling drug dealing was a number one priority.

Officers have also pledged to "remove" dealers -and their assets - from Glasgow's communities.
