A man has been arrested in connection with the death of a radio presenter at her home, police have said.
The body of 54-year-old widow Nasim Jamil was discovered by her daughter in her Glasgow flat on December 9.
Ms Jamil had serious head injuries.
Strathclyde Police said they arrested a 28-year-old man and expect him to appear in Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.
Ms Jamil worked for Glasgow radio station Awaz FM, which broadcasts in Urdu, Punjabi and English.
She had hosted the programme Yaadon Ka Phool on the station since 2004.
The presenter was found in her home in Byres Road in the west end of the city.
