Hundreds of families are to be given the chance to rent new homes in the £245million Athletes’ Village being built for the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

One of the country’s biggest social landlords is among a number of housing associations that will rent out 400 of the village homes when the curtain comes down on Glasgow’s sporting extravaganza.
