Hero is inspiration for today’s pupils

One of Glasgow’s most famous sons returned to visit his old school – where he had been told as a pupil he was “confrontational and aggressive” and his “future prospects are not too bright”.

Sir Alex Ferguson was given the chance to see his old school report when he visited Govan High School which celebrates its 100th anniversary this year.
