Yesterday the Evening Times reported how the 78-year-old legendary leader of the 1971 UCS Govan work-in, died after a brain haemorrhage at Inverclyde Royal Hospital.

His wife Joan was by his side and daughters Eileen, Shona and Julie had been with him in his final hours.
