Police vow: You can help to stop local thugs

Almost 400,000 incidents of anti-social behaviour were dealt with by Strathclyde police last year.

The latest figures were revealed as officers launched a major crackdown on issues which blight communities in the west of Scotland.

And residents will be urged to play a role in shaping the future of the areas through a series of meetings held throughout the force area.
