Widow killed in own home

A pensioner brutally murdered in her own flat has been described as a frail woman who wouldn’t harm anyone.

Detectives are today attempting to establish the motive behind the "sustained, prolonged and vicious" murder of 63-year-old Hannah Smith in her home in the East End of Glasgow.
