PEOPLE in Ayrshire are marking the 175th anniversary of the Eglinton Tournament.
The Heritage Centre in Saltcoats is hosting a display, which brings together a range of objects and interpretation relating to the tournament held at Eglinton Castle in August 1839.
It runs until September 27.
The tournament was a triumph for Archibald William Montgomerie, the 13th Earl of Eglinton, attracting thousands from all over the UK, Europe and beyond.
A Medieval Mayhem day will also be held on Saturday September 6 from 12-4pm for children aged 8-12.
For more information, contact the Heritage Centre on 01294 464174.
