SCOTS voters need to make the distinction between the General Election and the referendum if they want David Cameron out of Downing Street, Ed Miliband said.

Mr Miliband said he didn't think the referendum would impact once people see the choice they face, which he said is either him or the Tory leader as Prime Minister.

He said: "I think the referendum was last year's division among people in Scotland and clearly there were incredibly strong views on both sides.

"But this year, this May, it's a different choice. Either a Labour Government led by me or a Conservative government led by David Cameron, even Nicola Sturgeon said that.

" If you want a Labour Government, if you want change and you want rid of this Conservative government there's only one way of doing that and it's to vote Labour."

He said he was not thinking about Labour losing seats in Glasgow despite polls suggesting as many as six out of the seven could go to the SNP.

Mr Miliband added: "I'm determined that we win all of our seats and I think once people focus on the choice.

"We've got 97 days to go and I think the phoney war is over and the real battle has begun and people are going to start homing in on this choice , it's not the choice of last year which was the referendum choice. It a general election choice which is Tory or Labour government."
