A SERIES of events is being lined up to encourage people into the great outdoors in East Dunbartonshire.
Mugdock Country Park Countryside Ranger Service will be leading a walk from Auld Aisle to Woodilee on July 2 at 11.20am.
The walk will last one hour on mainly level, established paths with some steps. Minibus transport is available from Lennoxtown at 11am or meet at the walk start at 11.20am. Booking is essential on 0141 956 6586.
For youngsters there is a free event called Creepy Crawlies & Conservation, in Kirkintilloch, which runs from 2-3.30pm on July 10, while the adults get their hands dirty managing the nearby grassland. Meet the Ranger at Merkland Local Nature Reserve car park, off Merkland Drive.
