BUSINESSES working in the energy sector are being asked to help fund a project aimed at encouraging young people to pursue a career in the industry.
Glasgow Science Centre has revealed that almost three quarters of the £1.5 million needed to stage the Powering the Future exhibition has been found.
Now the centre is calling on businesses for support in raising the remaining £400,000 to bring it to life.
Next year's exhib-ition will shine a light on innovation and engineering in Scot-land's energy sector, and feature more than 100 inter-active exhibits to explore technologies.
Centre chief execu-tive Dr Stephen Breslin said: "The exhibition will bring to life the story of energy."
