A former Scots rugby player who later coached Glasgow High School FP has died aged 83.
Jimmy Docherty, a stand-off with the Glasgow side, played for Scotland eight times between 1955 and 1958.
His finest hour in a Scotland jersey was in 1955 when a Welsh team was defeated 14-8 - Scotland's first victory in four years. Docherty contributed a drop-goal to the success.
When he retired from playing he was involved as a coach and trainer at Glasgow High School FP and was the club's president in 1980-81.
