A BENCH celebrating the lives of three historical figures now marks the end of a cycle route.
Iconic warrior William Wallace, social reformer Robert Owen and explorer David Livingstone were chosen by the public for their links with South Lanarkshire.
The route, from Hamilton to Larkhall, and bench, which is in Chatelherault, are funded by civil engineering charity Sustrans, the Scottish Government, Strathclyde Partnership for Transport and the local council.
South Lanarkshire Provost Eileen Logan said the bench was a "fitting tribute".
