DEMAND for tickets for the stage version of Still Game has proved so "phenomenal" that two extra performances have been added.
Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill planned four shows in the Hydro Arena in October next year but within hours of tickets going on sale on Wednesday, it was decided to extend the run to meet demand.
Jack, Victor and their cronies will take to the stage on September 30 and October 1-3.
But Hydro bosses said the Craiglang crew will also appear at a matinee and evening performance on October 5 meaning they will be seen by around 72,000 people in just five days.
A spokesman said: "We thought there would be big demand for a live version of the show but the response has been astounding."
Ford and Greg have also announced they will be returning to TV in a Christmas or New Year special or a new series.
