RANGERS board rival Paul Murray is to meet with the club's fans ahead of next month's crucial AGM.
Ibrox shareholder Murray - who is part of multi-millionaire businessman Jim McColl's "requisitioners" group - will meet with around 200 Rangers fans in Glasgow next week.
Frustrated fans organised the meeting, which will take place at the Hilton Grosvenor Hotel on Thursday.
Rangers fans' supremo Drew Roberton said current boards members have also been invited - but organisers have not yet had a response.
Boardroom battles continue to dominate at Ibrox, with the shareholder summit on December 19 set to be a stormy meeting.
Rangers Supporters Association chief Drew Roberton told the Evening Times: "This is the fans' chance to have their say and get the answers they are looking for. Paul Murray will be attending and the idea is that fans can put questions to each side.
"However, as far as I'm aware, we have not had any response from the board.
"Fans really want to ask the board: 'What have you been up to?' We need stability.
"It seems that everyone who has come to the club recently has left - and with a big pay off."
The opposition group, headed by former Blue Knights leader Murray and former Rangers chairman Malcolm Murray, is bidding to overthrow the current hierarchy at the AGM.
Rangers yesterday confirmed that accountant David Somers will be permanent chairman of the board.
Meanwhile, the SFA said Celtic chief executive Peter Lawwell didn't breach the rules with his comments about Rangers at the Parkhead club's AGM.
Campbell Ogilvie, SFA president, said: "I am compelled to convey my disappointment that we find ourselves in this position, as a result of an apparent erosion of mutual respect between two of our oldest rivals."
