TEAMS from the McDonald's restaurant chain collected 43 bags of rubbish as they helped clean up in Glasgow and Lanarkshire.
A total of 32 staff from five of its restaurants in Maryhill and Robroyston in the city and also in Hamilton joined forces with their local communities as part of the country-wide anti-littering campaign.
The restaurant is backing Keep Scotland Beautiful's Clean Up Scotland campaign.
Andy Gibson, local McDonald's franchisee, said: "It is everyone's responsibility to keep our streets clean.
"Through these events we hope to do just that."
