Fears grow for missing pensioner
POLICE are becoming "increasingly concerned" about the whereabouts of a missing pensioner.
Wilhelmina Anne Rooney - known as Anne - was last seen around 10am on Monday, January 19 at her home in Thistle Place, East Kilbride.
Family members said it is out of character for the 71-year-old not to be in touch and they are becoming concerned for her safety.
Anne is described as white, 5ft in height and of medium build with short grey hair and a ruddy complexion. Her exact clothing is not known.
Sergeant Stuart Turner of East Kilbride Police Office is appealing to anyone with any knowledge of Anne's whereabouts to contact Police Scotland on 101.
