BARRHEAD Community Fire Station has celebrated 50 years serving the people of East Renfrewshire.
And crews marked the event by fundraising for Lauren's Lifelines, a charity set up by primary pupil Lauren Cosgrove to help children with short bowel syndrome.
Area manager Paul Tanzilli said: "The anniversary is a proud moment for everyone connected to Barrhead, which is very much a community fire station."
