Five councillors set to quit Labour after budget passed by just 2 votes

LABOUR is expecting a raft of resignation letters from Glasgow councillors following a dramatic budget meeting in the City Chambers.

It is understood at least five have quit after being suspended or told they are not wanted to fight the council election in May.

They took their anger out on Labour by voting against their former party's £2.3million budget for the year from April.
