INVESTIGATIONS are continuing after a body was found within a block of flats.
As reported in later editions of yesterday's Evening Times, police were called to Urquhart Drive in East Kilbride, Lanarkshire, shortly after 2pm on Sunday.
They found a man, believed to be in his 40s, dead in the three-storey block of flats.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said his death was being treated as unexplained and a post mortem examination was due to take place yesterday.
Meanwhile, a probe into the death of a man who was found in a river in Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire, is also continuing.
The body was pulled from the water, near the town's London Road, on Saturday at around 11.50am.
The man was named locally as James Duffy, who is understood to have been from nearby village Crookedholm.
