The event was organised by Partick Housing Association (PHA) and involved Thornwood, Notre Dam and Hyndland primaries and Middlefield Residential school. The competition took place at Thornwood Primary's sports pitch. PHA awarded medals to the 30 pupils involved.

The PHA Challenge Trophy competition will be an annual event and will involve different sports in the future.

PHA CEO Lynn Wassell said: "We're delighted to have the opportunity to support local schools and look forward to building on our relationship through a variety of activities."
