A footballer has pleaded guilty to assaulting two police officers.
Paul McGowan, 26, who plays for Scottish Premiership side St Mirren, admitted kicking two officers in Airdrie and at Coatbridge police office on August 11.
He admitted the charges at Airdrie Sheriff Court.
The former Celtic player was released on bail and sentence deferred until January 8.
