A DOG walker has been attacked by four men in a busy street in what police say was an unprovoked assault.
The 45-year-old man was walking in Crownpoint Road in Bridgeton, Glasgow, when four men got out of a silver Ford Transit-style van and attacked him.
They then got back in the van and drove off towards Fielden Street.
The injured man was treated in Glasgow Royal Infirmary and has since been released.
Investigations are continuing into the incident which happened around 5pm on Monday.
Police have the description of only one attacker – a white man aged about 40, 5ft 10in with black curly hair.
Officers want to speak to any witnesses, especially the driver of a red van which was in the area at the time.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact London Road police office on 0141 532 4600.
