SCOTLAND rugby star Thom Evans and singer Frankie Bridge are the first celebrities to sign up for the Strictly Come Dancing live tour, which arrives in Glasgow in January.

Thom - who exited the BBC One show two weeks ago - is delighted to get the chance to dance again.

"It's sad to be out of the TV Show as I don't think I got the chance to show my full potential," said the 29-year-old.

"I'm really excited to be invited to perform on the Strictly tour and can't wait to get back on the dance floor.

"Roll on January..."

Frankie, who received the first 'proper' 10 of the series on Saturday night for her Wicked-inspired tango, says it will be strange performing in arenas without her fellow Saturday band members.

"It will be a bit odd, but I can't wait to see all the Strictly fans who have supported me throughout the TV series," she said.

Frankie - who also received a 10 in week two from guest judge Donny Osmond - is over the moon about being part of the tour.

"I can't wait," she smiled.

The eighth Strictly arena tour is directed by Craig Revel Horwood, and Zoe Ball - who took over from Kate Thornton last year - returns as host.

The show comes to the SSE Hydro in Glasgow on January 30 and 31, and February 1.
